Easy Tank COMMBAT (ETC) was designed to run under the Microsoft? Windows? operating system, revision 98 Original Edition or higher, incorporating Microsoft DirectX 8.1. If when running ETC under XP you have any problems at all, there is a high probability that it is video driver or video configuration related. In general, if your video driver is over a year old, then by all means get an update. ETC maintains a file named "configuration" to save user environmental variable settings between sessions. Delete it to restore the default settings. Write protect it to freeze the settings. If you run ETC Guest from a CD then no environment configuration is saved. Press the S key from the setup menu to swap skins between COMMBAT and Easy Tank. You can customize your display avatar used in the battles.
